as a metaphor for both the mundane and the exceptional aspects of

Explore Photomontage and its compositional possibilities
and gain new insights into Collage as a whole. Review collage without
liquid adhesives and various image transfer techniques and other
subjects such as the Incorporation of Computer-generated
images into Collage, Preserving Found Materials, Preparation of
Substrates, Sources of Tools and Materials, Presentation and Framing
of Finished Works, and more
(additional goals of this workshops will be defined by the participants).
This weekend workshop will be held at the
farm of Jonathan's friend Marge Dillon near Junction City, OR where
we can enjoy the animals and the mountain views. Junction City is
just north of Eugene and less than two-hours south of Portland.
Marge has a large barn (see photo at right) which has been converted
to studio space so we will have plenty of room.

optional evening hours on Saturday
at no extra cost. A limited number of individual tutorial sessions
are also available on Monday & Tuesday following the workshop
